Sabai by Boat (Sabai Marítimo) is a 55-minute panoramic speedboat ride from Todomar Marina with views of the Bocachica Fortress, the Barú peninsula, and the Cholón lagoon. Sabai by Land (Sabai Terrestre) is door-to-door: hotel pickup from 7:30 AM, a 90-minute shared van ride down the peninsula, and a short 15-minute boat crossing. Once at Sabai, both include the same beach, pool, lunch, 2x1 cocktails, mixology class, and activities.

Which option should I choose — By Boat or By Land?

Choose By Boat if the boat ride is part of the fun for you — the panoramic route through the bay and past the fortress is genuinely scenic, and you're back at the marina around 4:05 PM. Choose By Land if you get seasick, travel with young children, or simply prefer minimal boat time — only a 15-minute crossing, with pickup and drop-off at your hotel (coverage from Laguito to Zona Norte up to Hotel Sonesta). The arrival back in Cartagena is later with the land option because of the 90-minute drive.

If boats aren't your thing, the By Land option is the smartest way to enjoy Sabai's private beach with only a 15-minute crossing.
